2009 AAA Sanctioned State Wrestling Tournament
The 2009 AAA Sanctioned State Wrestling Tournament
will be held February 13th and 14th at the Stephens Center at the University
of Arkansas at Little Rock. Wrestling will begin at approximately 5:00
p.m. on Friday and will run until 10:00 p.m. that night. The following
day wrestling will begin at 8:00 a.m. and run throughout the day with
the State Finals starting at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday evening.
This will be the first year that the State Tournament is sanctioned
by the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA). Please click on to www.ahsaa.org,
which is the AAA website for more information on wrestling and how to
get your teams signed up for the State Tournament.
Greg Hatcher, President of the Arkansas Wrestling Association, and Pat
Smith, 4-Time NCAA Champion and former Coach at Oklahoma State University
will be the Tournament Directors for this event in conjunction with
Don Brodell and the Arkansas Activities Association. You may email all
