SPONSOR A MAT

The Arkansas Wrestling Association has agreed to raise the funds to purchase a wrestling mat for any school who agrees to start a wrestling program in the state of Arkansas for the first 40 schools who agree to participate. A regulation size wrestling mat with the schools logo on it will cost approximately $9,000 per mat. We have worked out a deal with Action Athletic Equipment, Inc. and Resilite, Inc. to get the best deal for our schools.

The Arkansas Wrestling Association has made grant requests to organizations such as Healthy Arkansas, which was started by Governor Huckabee and to the Blue and You Foundation with Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield to try to help raise funds for the mats. Both of these grant requests are pending and the Arkansas Wrestling Association could certainly use help from corporations and all companies that might be willing to sponsor a mat for a school. The mat can have your companies logo or your particular organizations logo put on it so that every time the mats rolled out for wrestling practice and for a wrestling match your organization or your companies logo will be seen and serves as a great advertisement for your company and shows your community support for your fellow Arkansans.
