COACHING/OFFICIALS CLINICS 2009-2010 Season

                                                                  
The Arkansas Activities Association will be holding two coaching/officials clinics. The coaching/officials clinics will be held on:

1. Saturday, October 17th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at "The Annex" Rogers School Athletic Facility with Clinic Instructors Pat Smith and Randy Steen.(Click here for Map)

2. Saturday, October the 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Arkansas Wrestling Academy, 6900 Pinnacle Valley Rd. Little Rock, AR 72223 located out at Mighty Bluebird Field.

There will be no charge for the coaching/officials clinics. All coaching/officials clinics will be led by our new Arkansas resident, Pat Smith, who was the first 4-time NCAA Champion in history and a member of the Oklahoma State wrestling staff for 12 years and Randy Steen, State Officiating Director, from Rogers who served as the State Director for the state of Nevada before moving to Arkansas.Officials and Coaches who would like to attend please R.S.V.P. to Shannon@hatcheragency.comto confirm your attendance at these clinics.

Arkansas Wrestling Academy - From I-430, take exit 9 and go west on HWY 10 (Cantrell Road) 2.5 miles, Turn right (north) onto Pinnacle Valley Road headed toward Maumelle Park, Go 1 mile on Pinnacle Valley Road, Immediately after you cross the railroad tracks, turn left and go through the private entrance gate, AR Wrestling Academy Gym is on your right just as you pass the two large barns on your right.

Hydration Assessment 2008-2009 Season

Pat Smith, 4-Time NCAA Champion from Oklahoma State University and Coach at the Arkansas Wrestling Academy along with Mike Moyer, Executive Director of the National Wrestling Coaches Association, will be putting on a Hydration Assessment Clinic on Saturday, November 1st, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon and the Assessment at 1:00 p.m. at the Arkansas Wrestling Academy in Little Rock, Arkansas.

There will also be a second Hydration Assessment Clinic on Sunday, November 2nd, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and the Assessment at 3:00 p.m. at Bentonville High School.

There will be no charge for the Hydration Assessment Clinics. Those who would like to attend please R.S.V.P. to Shannon@hatcheragency.com to confirm your attendance at these clinics.

* The Training Seminar will educate the Athletic Trainers
on how to perform a Hydration Test*
