I am an experienced wrestling coach in Memphis. I started the Westside wrestling team from scratch in 1995 and coached it until it was shut down in Sept. 2004. I had a ton of success with numerous Region 8 Champions, a State Champion, and numerous other state placers. My 2002-2003 team was ranked number ten in the state at one point. My teams traveled to Chicago, Oklahoma, Nashville and Chattanooga yearly. I would love to talk with someone if a coaching slot exists. Thanks.

I'm applying for your wrestling coach positions. I graduated UNCC with a degree in communications and a minor in film studies. I wrestled in high school, and played baseball at Providence Senior High School. I also have an ISSA fitness training certification. I would be great for this position because I know a lot about nutrition so I could teach the wrestlers to cut weight properly, which is a big problem among most wrestlers. I was a personal trainer for two years, which expanded my understanding of fitness in general. I was recruited to wrestle by some Division II schools but I finally decided to go to UNCA and then transferred to UNCC. I believe I have excellent communication skills because I have a strong ability to adapt my communication style to the appropriate audience, which I think is significant in a wrestling position.
